Brian started his first company, CEC California Educational Centers at the age of 20 with 0 students and 3 employees. Tragically, one year later, Brian went Blind butnever lost his dream. Today, CEC serves 10,000 students per week and staffs 46 FTE Employees sharing the mission of “Helping Young Minds Cross Finish Lines!” Brian’s personal philosophy of “No Excuses” and desire to give back led to his award-winning 501 ©3 Non-Profit Organization, Blind Start of America, with the mission of “Helping the Blind Cross Finish Lines!” This year, BLINDSTART’s Dragon Boat Race Team made history, being the First Blind American team to represent the USA at the Club Crew World Champions in Australia this March 2016.
